52 CDTi Connoisseur Tourer **WITHDRAWN**
A bit of an odd situation this.
I bought this tourer last weekend as some may has seen on another thread. Original thread here; http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...d.php?t=223088 It was collected from the seller by lorry and en route to me the lorry broke down on the motorway so the lorry was towed off the motorway with the tourer still on its back and the lorry remains in the garage at this time. Its a 52 CDTi Connoisseur in Monsoon Green. I'm told by the seller the engine and box are really strong and he regrets letting the car fall away into its current condition. Last MOT was in 2013 and it failed on four shockers. The lorry driver tells me the brakes have seized which I was expecting. Damage to the rear N/S door and wheel arch and rear bumper. The interior needs a good clean. The seats are in very good condition heated memory seats. The boot space has had a dog in it so it needs a good clean also. The V5 has been sent off the DVLA by the seller and I await it being returned showing me as the owner. I have the new owner section of the V5. At the time of buying, I was unsure whether is was too much for me to take on, and I now admit, it is, so if anyone is interested let me know. I bought it for £325 plus the transport costs but I'm looking just to recover the cost of the car.

Sorry to hear that, I think location would help if anyone was interested to help work out recovery options

No, it was just dumped there. I think it was the sellers fire wood or maybe he was making a home made wood dash
£325. Reasonable offers listened to.

Pity you've decided to move it on Glenn. If my circumstances were different I might have been interested, always wanted a tourer for moving radiograms around but right now need to recover from my knee op next week and then look for even a part time job. Hope it sells ok for you Glenn.

Glenn could you pm me with some idea of what's needed to put the car on the road please. Could you also find out if it could be trailered to Kilmarnock and the cost please.
Many thanks.
