I will be at EMS this weekend, if all else fails I will accommodate His Furriness but I would prefer a member take him, I believe several will be going.

It'd be good to see Fred on the move again.
At the very least, can someone snap some pics of Fred whilst he is visiting EMS? Ta |

Will do with the snaps, if I can get a look in, no doubt he will be the belle of the ball.
I think his trip there should be documented on the Googly wotsit Don't you just hate teddy bears. |

I have something much more special in mind for Fred though, if only I can get him here. Apart from the logistics involved with Fred's safe handover, poor old VOOT is all bashed up at the monent. I never give up though and I will get Fred to his aforementioned 'rightful place' come hell or high water. Prior to VOOT's accident, I was planning to go to the giant Sealed Knot bash at Shugborough (Patrick Litchfield's old pad) this weekend. They'll have 2,500 troops in period gear. It's a bit of a treck from you but see http://www.shugborough.org.uk/events-75 We could have photographed Fred in full battle mode at Shugborough. Then Fred at Woodstock - Blenheim Palace's awesome 'Battle Proms' - on 28th July (see Google again). All the best, Simon. Last edited by Simon W; 10th July 2007 at 22:08.. |

Well Shugborough is just a couple of miles from me.
If the fur who must be obeyed is with you and wants a quick trip to the Netherlands next week (albeit not in an MGR) then he's more than welcome. He might even get in a visit to another famous car factory! |

Damn! - could have got a shot of him with Napoleon Bonaparte at Shugborough. Then he could have jetted off to Holland with you, then back to Stratford-on-Avon with me for some more nice stuff. Damn again in fact PS. Battle Proms, Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, July 28th - a big one. Another golden opportunity. Amongst others, Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture to 200 live cannon. http://www.blenheimpalace.com/whatson/battlepr.htm I might have to say 'Damn' a third time.
