Default HID Canbus

Hi guys! I have a very simple question that hopefully somebody can answer.

I would like to install aftermarket hid lights to my dipped beam. My question is can I install the cheap hid conversion (the €30 non-canbus) with no faults? ie. flickering, bulb blown warning light on dash, not working.

Or do I need the expensive ballast with the canbus built in?

I have a 2004 mk2 ZT with projector headlights

To install HiD you need a ballast anyway Cheap enough for the full conversion, just get the correct fitment bulb & they just plug into your loom,no need for canbus etc

Remember when ordering state 35W.If you are installing these in standard reflector headlights you require the H7R burner, projector lens is just the standard H7 burner.

Spend a few more Euros and get a good quality kit, with sealed ballasts and transformers. The connection plugs are slightly better too,as water ingress creates problems.

The only difference is price between this one:

CANbus http://www.ebay.ie/itm/HID-Xenon-Kit...item4aad53330e

and this one with no CANbus:

http://www.ebay.ie/itm/XENON-HID-CON...item20c194de6f

I am a little short on cash so im hoping i can get the cheaper one with no worries of errors

The second listing sounds good..6000K in my opinion is the best colour temperature..They don't get any brighter as the scale rises, they become blue to purple and will attract the law.

A picture of 6000K.
