Ah the famous haynes manual instructions and don,t forget that re fitting is just a case of reversal of removal procedure

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has had this happen.
Get the hot soldering iron out and re weld the part back in,a bit of vasaline in the rubber holes and it should be fine

Copper seal or Silicone spray when replace....Easy next time....
