Default changed door cars and now can't open both front doors from inside

Hi all,

Need a bit of help. I've swapped all four of my standard door cards today for my blue alcantara ones. After fitting the new door cards I now can't open my front two doors from inside. Rear doors open up fine.

The front doors open fine from the outside but not from the inside. If I unscrew the door handle and pull it out towards the front door and then pull the door handle the door opens fine. It's like as if the cable is too long all of a sudden.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

Cheers

There is a guide for the cable in the plastic part of the handle that fits into the door , are they located properly ?

You may need to remove the door cards again and fit the handle back through before you clip the door card back into position that's how we normally do it at nano meets without any issues

Hello Rick

I thought the pictorial guide in the link below might help to see if anything has not located or has seperated during reassembly.

i think they're located properly, not sure about the door side but handle side seems ok to me. Will have to try and find some photos of them online to compare.

I passed the door handle through the door card before putting the door car on.

Make sure the cable is clipped into the door handle and the lock properly, I do have some pics will try and find them out but this may help for not to show how it works.
