Should I let it run at least 30 minutes a week? More? Less?
Should I really turn it off before arriving?

Not really worth a separate topic I think, but still interesting to know.
I honestly do not know, I suppose a few minutes would work

Always use the air con in all weathers. If it's hot, it cools the car, if it's cold, it demists the windows in a fraction of the time. Never had a problem with any ac system on any car, and I reckon it is because I use it. Once the screen is clear, I may turn it off, but I've noticed than when it gets cold, with the heater on, the windscreen and side windows inevitably begin to mist up again, so pop it back on.

Incidentally, I've always had to have the ac serviced and gassed up whenever I've brought a "new" car. Every time! Weird.

Today, I have used the Vax and carpet cleaner and cleaned the back of the boot. Removed the floor carpet, peeled back the side carpets and given them a damned good washing to get the mould and stink out of them. Now have the heater going drying them out so it doesn't happen again. Also, it is sunny. COLD, but sunny, so hoping the boot will dry out in the next 8 hours.

Replaced a chipped/scratched mirror cover after much sanding and hand polishing of the replacement.

New rocker gasket, camshaft seals and spark plugs....nice straightforward morning.

Then far too many hours wrestling with the passenger side lower arm bush....not such a great afternoon.

Default More leather seats.

Went to Willenhall to buy another set of sandstone leather seats. This set have heated seats 226.5 mile round trip.
Met Anthracite and Arctic. So thanks to Arctic for putting my mind at rest regarding Mo's engine.
Yesterday I checked the timing belt and tensioner. Tensioner needed tightening a smidge, belt in line to be replaced.
