Hi Klarzy,
My apologies for completely off topic reply here but I've been unable to pm you as your messsge box is full!
I have seen your very useful YouTube videos on stripping down IPK units. I'd like to try delining my message centre and swapping some dial faces and it would be very helpful to be able to connect up some test leads to avoid having to keep putting the unit back in the car to test it. Would you mind sharing with me what pins you used in your connectors?
I think I have worked out that I need a stabilised +12v power supply to pins 6+8 and the -ve to pin 9 on the white plug? However I noticed in your video that you also have a lead going into the black socket but cannot work out what the purpose of that one would be nor which pins would be required?
Hope you can help - kind regards Andrew
