Default Prestcott French Italian Meet Supercar Pictures

Been to Prestcott Hill Climb French Italian Meet over the weekend and what a superb event it was in the sunshine.

Its always a great event as the French weekend but coupling with Italian has made it even better than ever in my opinion, as it was like supercar city as you will see from the pictures.

Ones to look out for:

La Ferrari which costs £1m and has an electrically assisted 6.3 v12 engine, absolutely awesome and 950bhp and it has a button marked " Launch " !

Veyron Supersport, another £1m car and 1000bhp !

Ferrari Enzo

Zonda S - another stunning supercar but look out for the rear light lenses fixed with 3 slightly rusting posi screws !

Ferrari 250GT, in BRG with the number 7 This was raced by Stirling Moss and Mike Parkes who both won races in it. Currently owned by Ross Brawn who was the Ferrari technical director when Michael Schumaker was F1 world champion. Ross Brawn paid £7m for it 2 years ago and I was speaking to a guy called Darren who looks after Brawns vast car collection and he says it is now almost double that value at £14m yes £14m and I was standing right next to it taking pictures. Only Brawn is allowed to drive it !

The Beast of Turin ( Big and Red bearing number 15). This once held the land speed record and has a 4 cylinder 28.5 litre engine !

Look for the car that nicks the Veyron Supersports undercover parking space

And the new Mazda MX5 looks very nice too even if it is doesnt cost a fortune

Wow, fabulous pics
Out of all those exotic cars, I still find myself going back to that Citroen DS
Also love the Renault Alpine A110, one of my all time fave cars.

Thank you for sharing.

Fantastic pictures. Love the contrast between some serious vehicles and the more mundane. The MGB garaged next to two Bugatti Veyrons. Brilliant. Thanks for posting them.

Great photos Rob, you really got around. Was there nothing photographed? Triump TR6 a favourite. Thanks for a colourful celebration of motoring history!

When I got home I had almost 600 pics so not much escaped my lens , had to trim them down to around 200 for the forum !

Cracking photos Rob.

Looks like it was a great weekend. Will ask my mate when he gets back - he was racing his Bugatti Brescia, the blue one in the middle:
