Default £600 to get car to MOT standard

Apparently my car is gonna need £600 throwing at it for the repairs it needs doing before MOT the start of January.

It needs, New rear springs, new rear shocks, abs sensor replacing, auxiliary belt replacing and the water pump pulley replacing, airbag light is on too.

I've bought the auxiliary belt and abs sensor the other day, was just wondering does this seem a good price for all the work involved?

I would suspect the biggest cost is the hourly rate for labour, Parts I would guess about £200

Only 2 belts on a diesel, aux & aircon, about £20-£25 for the pair..Add it up and that's a lot of labour charge, rear springs, shocks are easy, fronts less so..

I think it's dear, do you know what their hourly rate is?, then you can break it down a bit more..
