Tourer fuel filter
Does it live under the rear seat as it does in the saloon,
Going to get mine taken out to get a FOC fitted, before it has chance to fall apart |

The FFS susceptible modules were fitted late on in 2001, so you should look to see which you have before spending money on stuff you may not need.
The filter module is in the near side half of the tank, accessible under the rear seat cushion. These HowTo's may help: 1. http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ead.php?t=9068 2. http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ead.php?t=9108 3. http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ad.php?t=58868 If you have FFS and you slacken the unit completely, you will most likely have to renew the cap sealing ring. That means buying a filter element replacement kit at some rediculous price. TC |

My car is a late 2001, is there a set of vin no's that are susceptible , or is it a case of take it out to see? (How do you tell by looking) Can't see that mentioned anywhere For now I haven't got FFS , but would rather prevent the problem than have a wait for a tow truck |
