Default rear number plate light problem

hi all

i have done a search and found where to look for this problem

( number plt lights aint working )

turns out one of the contacts on the board had corroded off !!!

what i am unclear on is if the whole spoiler has to be removed to access the board so i can try and repair it

i dont want to pull the whole thing off unless i really have to

regards mark

Default

Getting the spoiler of is not that much of an issue, but the pcb for the lights is taped to the boot lid.

Some pics of the repair I did
