One of favourite tracks of AC/DC.
I wish I had your luck mate, I always seem to get the wrong once or the impossible.

I've got few top trump cards myself from racing boats, rally cars, touring cars classic cars, space and NASA related.

President Pratt, I've got a load of words too describe him.

I must say he looked nothing like he did with Maiden with some time.
They say you should never meet your hero's
But that doesn't stop me appreciating that first Iron Maiden album and Dianno's vocals

I peed of Gary Numan too supporting him afterwards in a hotel but that is another story

We would do anything to earn a few pennies. I had a morning and evening paper round and on Saturdays I would fit in helping out selling fruit and veg on a horse and cart. I would get paid ten Bob for a full day's work plus tip's. We would also cut people's grass, collect lemonade and beer bottles for the refunds. Christmas carol singingl and Penny for the Guy were also good little earners.

I was into horses, ate, slept and breathed horses from about the age of 8 to 18.......somewhere along the way I discovered parties, boys and alcohol and my interest in horses slowly faded......can also remember being obsessed with Adam Ant for pretty much the whole of the 80's

It was Phantom Of The Opera that did it for me Jay but, the whole album is brilliant for a debut
Yes, Dianno seemed to change a lot once he'd left Maiden, he put a lot of weight on and, I think, his hair fell out..........bit like me Great vocalist, never got to see him live though First time I saw Maiden was in Number Of The Beast tour in '83.

Gary Numan eh? Not my sort of thing Jay but, your story sounds interesting, one for another time

I was into experimenting with building rocket engines using liquid fuel - mostly kerosene and occasionally petrol

And then there were the experiments with batteries and the mains.

I sometimes think that it's a miracle I'm still alive!!

I was into driving a Fordson Dexta (not live drive) buck raking silage into a pit.

I was just 13 at the time and even when I started working full time as an apprentice HGV mechanic I used to pop along to my friends farm to help out.

You've remind d me of something there Maninder, we used to make gunpowder from charcoal, sulphur powder and saltpetre. I stupidly asked for it by its chemical name of potassium nitrate once at a chemist's, the pharmacist knew what the game was and refused to sell me it. T*at!
