Well, car is all done. Must of only taken him 6 hours to change cambelts and pulleys etc and the other bits. Apparantly the cambelt idler pulley was pretty seized up causing the horrible racket i was getting. So glad I got it looked at. Could of resulted in another crushed ZT! Goes to show that even though I bought the car from a member off here who also assured me the cambelts was all done along with the ancileries just before I bought it that you can never be sure of the quality of parts or whether it was actually even done.
Cheers

Cant believe how much different the car drives with new top engine hydramount.. much more precise and smooth, along woth the cambelts she sounds spot on now and really responsive.. £600 well spent I say. Now to get my alignment issue resolved and sticky accelerator!
Cheers

Phill -

Glad to hear the car is now sorted. Good news. Very much saddend that the Owner between us had potentially "misled" you about the belts.

I'm glad its gone to a good home now.

If your ever passing this way, id love to see it again. Are you going to Pride of Longbridge?

Hey Rich...
Im trying my best to keep her going. Just want this dodgy accelerator fixed. So new throttle body will be going on next. And front bumper is going for a respray to sort a few scuffs and chips out. Im hoping to be coming to POL this year!
