Default Garden Flowers

After seeing Jims beautiful flower study, I was inspired to take some photos today of the flowers in the garden. Some of them will be familiar, seeded from the UK. Photos taken using an old iPhone.

Very nice Phil. It was a lovely day here today, so nice to see flowers and feel the warmth. If you could just send the swallows up here to UK I will be happy.

Thank you Paul, you do know your birds. Funny how you know they are here. I saw them last week out in the bush swooping round at high speed, too fast for the Canon and its lag problem in framing the shot quick enough. Onto some more flower photos.

I was looking forward to seeing the orange Bougainvillea, and I was not disappointed. The colour suits it very well.

It must be wonderful to have such a variety of flowers, and such a riot of colours in the garden.

It's all sort of green and brown here at the moment!

Jim

Lovely photos Phil, they would put a smile on anyone's faces seeing those flowers in full bloom

Thank you Jim and Steve Some of the flowers you would not see in the UK, tropical, drought resistant and loves the sun. We don't get any winter like you have. We had a lovely display of red and pink Dahlias, but a monkey came during the night and trampled them to bits. I brought the Dahlias out from the UK, packet seed. Not to worry, they will grow again,

Thank you Jim for the encouragement Jessica reminded me that we also have white Bougainvillea which have been harder to grow than the pinks, the reds or the orange ones. I will visit them tomorrow for photos, cheers
