It must be wonderful to have such a variety of flowers, and such a riot of colours in the garden.

It's all sort of green and brown here at the moment!

Good morning Jim

I am going to use the Canon Powershot to take the white Bougainvillea. Whilst we were away at the coast last week, one of the staff, a cook from another house fancied his hand a topiary and without permission from us, he came round and hacked a couple of the White Bougainvillea hedges in full bloom. He was looking for some extra money even though he is not on our books. I wish he hadn't cut away the white flowers, so unnecessary. We don't have a gardener, but could have found him something else to do. A few white Bougainvillea survived

Don't you just hate it when someone tries to impress, but does exactly the opposite to what you find acceptable? He may have thought he was doing a good thing, but thankfully the flowers will grow back. Bougainvillea is not the sort of bush I would have thought benefited from topiary either!

I'm sure there will be enough blooms left to get some decent shots of, and I look forward to seeing them.

I have not seen the white Bougainvillea before, and it looks even more delicate than the red and orange colours.

What a lovely colour the Yellow Oleander is.

Cheers,
Jim
