Funny you should say that. I was going to call it longlegus flybeastydae but changed my mind.
Edit: I just had a google and it is indeed a Daddy Long Legs (Crane Fly) Last edited by Rocket; 18th June 2016 at 16:31.. |

I took these this morning. The sun was shinning so I thought I would try taking some bird pics with a long cable between camera and PC.
I take 20 mins setting up tripod, camera, PC etc. In 4 minutes I get these pics (and more) THEN IT RAINS So my setup now is firing camera from pc via long cable. This has the problem of not being able to see what the camera is seeing. (the software does not have this abillity) To see what is sitting on the stick I use a tablet with a built in camera connected to the PC via Wi-Fi. I then point the tablet camera at the stick. It takes a bit of setting up but I can sit at my PC watching the stick and when a bird lands I can fire the camera. (23 pics in 2 secs) These are not the greatest pics but for overcast and less than 5 mins shooting they are not bad.
