Most do, this one did not. The woodpeckers are hard as nails and just stare at the camera.
Being able to fire of a few shots really quickly gives a better chance of a decent pic before they fly off. Another 2 Great NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- by Paul , on Flickr Sparrow by Paul , on Flickr Last edited by Rocket; 27th May 2016 at 15:44.. |

One from today just before I cut down all the buttercups.
DSC03103.jpg by Paul, on Flickr Here is one I took with my old Pentax KR using a neutral density filter as we are talking filters in the other thread. This enabled a 13 second exposure to give the water that icy look. Coultershaw Mill by Paul , on Flickr |

Just to prove I don't just take pictures.

Best bit of photo equipment I have. Jessops should sell them.
I am thinking of investing in one that would slope up at 45 degrees and the bird can perch on the top. More of a pro stick that one. I'll see what funds I have. On another note, I am now able to type this at my pc whilst watching the stick on a second monitor. If a subject appears on said stick, I press the wireless remote button. Best setup yet.
