You can get the badges cheaper off eBay I think. I got quoted £120 for a seat repair at a local place but again I think cheaper if you remove the cover yourself. I'd just find a local car trim specialist. I think the appeal of your car will be it needs no work at all.

Just wondering where you get these figures from? And does that include the ambulances? I keep seeing people quoting production figures for various colours and wondered where they come from and if they are available for public viewing so to speak.

Apologies to Peter for hijacking your thread.

I paid, what I believe, to be top money for my KV6 Tourer at £3000 and I think I could sell it for the same money now.

I sold my Typhoon ZT for £2300 and I think that was a fair price for it but when I advertised it the general feeling was I was asking too much money for it.

In a way they are right, you only have to look on ebay to see the values are all over the place, I would say £3750 does look very strong money considering I paid £3000 for mine but it only takes the right person to want the car and you'll get what you want for it.

It might be a long wait but if you get what you want for it, it may be worth waiting .

All the best with the sale

Tony

Its a funny old world, ive just sold my ZT with all the gubbins, sat nav tv,122k miles full heated electric memory seats, HK, blah blah new gearbox and engine done 78k all genuine MGR belts tensioners and thermo, new clutch and manifold you name it all done, a 54 year car a 2005 model air bags everywhere etc and a service file for receipts £7800.
I got half the asking amount on here and the way things are going ignition blue will be a colour hard to find and a thirsty V6 in many peoples eyes doesnt do it any favours at £159 road tax every 6 months.

Thanks to all who have taken an interest in my Trophy Yellow ZT-T.

I'm was encouraged to go for the £3,750 asking price by a young parking attendant at Luton airport - the sort you'd expect to see in a souped up Corsa - who made very complimentary remarks about the car / colour: "That's a bit special."

And last year, when parked in Ludlow, Shropshire, I came back to find a note under my windscreen - the sort we all dream of: 'If you're interested in selling your car...". It didn't come to anything (he sited having to buy a new van), but said he reckoned the car should be worth '£3 to £3.5K'.

Thanks, championdaddy - I'll get in touch with him. But how extraordinary: no obvious sign of a website, but this http://www.autoinsider.co.uk/local/c...rs/ai_8295.php and this http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/forum/post/index.htm?t=6371 are useful.

You will understand when you visit. Lol.
It is a case of organised chaos in his place. He has so much work its crazy.
It's a little industrial unit that is old. Stacked to the rafters with bits needing doing.

Hope that doesn't mean I could be weeks without my car! Removing and replacing the seat doesn't sound to be fun either...

Regards,
