I'd like mine somewhat brighter too so I took a look inside. What you suggest wouldn't make any difference. The MG7 LEDs are the same as the standard ones. You can use blue leds which tend to be stronger for thr same forward voltage, or go for a highet candella rating and hope the higher voltage is ok...

I did put some some diodes in one so the drivers side done both,and passenger just passengers ,but it upset some other buttons!

Has anyone confirmed if you can set it so both temps adjust from the drivers side ?

seen it done with 2 diodes but not 100% sure of no side effects...
