Sorry. Not 100% on either mechanics of cars or forums! I'll try harder. Very grateful for advice from everyone.

Got it now. It'll take me a while to get used to these emoticons.

Running out of days off work this week, so took her in for suggested leakback test at a local garage .

2 very poor injectors diagnosed and other 2 not great. Cheapest option if I want it is going to be £840 for injectors taken out, sent to someone who cleans and refurbs them (in Stoke) then re-fitting (All 4). Breaks down at around 400 labour and 4 x 110 per injector.

My plan is to have a go at taking the worst two out myself and sending them to someone who charges less or buying two refurbed ones from ebay.

Need to know if anyone recommends a particular tool that's going to help me not snap off an injector and anyone who either sells reliable recon or working salvaged injectors. I'm not a mechanic by any means but I've changed brake pads and cylinder head gaskets etc in the past. I'm hoping it's not a job too far for me!
