They are much sought after we had a 2003 model which we bought in 2006 and liked it so much we kept it long after we would have normally traded up. We sold it in 2014 and got a very good price for it

The only negative I have come across with Baileys between 2005 and when the introduced their Alu-Tech system is that after 2005 they ceased using drilled pilot holes and used a screw with a needle point. This, according to my caravan service guy meant that a lot of strain was introduced to the panels and they had an increased tendency to split and allow water ingress.

He said he saw far more Baileys made after 2004/5 that had water ingress than those built before that date.

This was one of the reason why we hung onto ours for so long.

No problem - we have not bought another caravan after having friends having so many problems with "new caravans" (after 2007 from our experience)

The link below will no doubt put you off Bailey Alu Tech caravans as well - and it should from our friends experience which mirrored what these guys experienced exactly.

We gave up on caravans because we came to realise (extremely sadly) that what is said on the linked to Forum - that the caravan industry has been producing s**t for years now and getting away with it is totally true.

We now realise that the thousands we could have spent on a new caravan after we sold our wonderful 2003 model - when they were actually BUILT - not thrown together by idiots was better spent on nice holidays abroad - even if that meant I had to endure Gatwick...........

Best of luck tho'.
