Default Remote control parking heater with simple climate control panel

Hi all,

I have a problem to build the remote controlparking heater.
My climatecontrol panel does not have the grey and the white connector but instead it has a white connector and a green connector.
My control panel is the one with 3 round turning switches.
I need a lightgreen-white cable and an orange-white cable to wire the control panel to the module I've got from Thinktank elektronics, but with the control panel I've got it is'nt possible.
Does anyone had the same problem or has anyone mannaged to build the remote control parkingheater with the same climatecontrol panel as me?

Hope someone can help me, because allready bought al the required parts and allready routed the wire from my FBH into the glovebox.

Regards,
Mattias

My car has the non-climate control/manual heating control system. I installed a complete FBH and a Webasto Telstart T91 remote control. I did not get around to fitting the timer that came with the FBH, but may do that in the future.

To make this all work as a parking heater, I had to add a small relay circuit to switch-on the interior fan. I can send this to you if you want it - the parts come from Maplins and fit inside a small plastic box.

Bear in mind that my FBH is not an original MGR part and I think that there may be a difference in the way the heater is switched-on (some need a pin on the FBH to be earthed, others need a live supply), so my circuit may need to be modified to suit your system.

This is the full installation I carried out in Post #28 demonstrates a Landrover Freelander with manually operated blower switch in circuit, which may help you in your design for the 75.

Thank you all for the info.
I am gonna try it as quickly as I can.

To Billcoleman: When I am done doing my homework on the FBH I'll let you know if I need that relay.

Thanks again,
great forum,
Glad I'm a member
