Default ZT-T cdti; wiring for heated washer jets?

Hi All,

I'd like to fit heated washer jets to my tourer, but before I order from Rimmer's, can anyone tell me if my cdti harness will actually have the facility to plug them in?

Also, anyone have any idea where the wiring to plug them in would be - I'm assuming it would be near the bulkhead, under the bonnet?

Thanks,

Rick

Don't quote me but I believe it is behind the driver side wheel arch liner.

Dependant on year, if 2002 on then sadly the connector wont be there, as it was a victim of project drive deletion.

same here, unfortunately you wont know until you peel the o/s/f wheel arch liner back, it may be tied up to the wiring loom in a small clear bag

Thanks guys, my car is a 02/52 so as you've mentioned, may have to have a delve to see if connector is there.

Better than spending 40-odd quid only to find I can't wire them in! May have to wait until the weather warms up though - by which time I probably won't need them.... !

Also, while you're in there you can snip off the end of the sunroof drain if you have a roof fitted

The connector was not there on my Facelift, but it was quite simple to run a wire into the fuse box and make a connection into the heated mirror circuit using a "piggy-back" fuse holder so that they still have their own fuse.

On top of that, just before Christmas I installed an electric screen wash heater, so I now also get heated screen wash.

Just a quick point...... Rimmers actually have stock of these??

If you mean THESE, there is a loom part that is not included that you would need to plug it all in as this is not the kit, just the jet on it's own.
