Default TV/DVD player recommendations

Hi all. Whilst I now wish I had bought a 75 with the factory fitted TV, I now want to fit one of my own in place of the Symphony radio. Can anyone recommend one for under about £200 (probably from Ebay) that is a good fit (goes in flush with some sort of fascia... probably a butchered 'offset' one) and minimal amount of 'wire chopping' (or is this something they all have to have done). Preferably, I would also like to be able to use the steering wheel buttons, but not essential. The car already has the glovebox CD changer. It must also have the radio RDS function (for my Garmin Sat Nav). Cheers.

Presently trying to decide whether to get a single din unit or double din unit although it means modifying an expensive BMW fascia (check here http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ad.php?t=13171).

One quiestion I have about the single din units with the TV screen that comes out of the front - do they catch on the piece of walnut/plastic that sticks out above the stereo? (hope that makes sense!)

My Alpine unit has a setting in the setup menu which allows me to adjust the tilt angle and position of the screen (forward/back) such that I can adjust the default position of the open screen such that it does not bang into the walnut "eyebrow".

Excellent! Then it looks like with all the faffing involved with the double din units that it might make more sense to go with a single din unit as the fascias are at least available for them. Perhaps this one might be of interest to you 75Coinnoisseur as it has an inbuilt TV Tuner, 7" screen, plays DVD, VCD, CD, CD-R-RW, MP3, MP4, 8cm Disc (!), DIVX, and probably beer mats if you pop one in! It even takes a CCD camera input.

I know it's £279 but it's a lot of kit for what you get. Also, it may not work with your CD changer but a DVD full of MP3s will keep you busy for a few weeks!
