Default Rearview camera wired or wireless

Hi I wondered what people's opinions are of the above, I have a dd unit and was going to add after market reversing sensors but thought of adding the camera instead as it works out much cheaper ?

Thanks

I started with a wireless camera but going through towns it'd randomly switch on which was rather annoying. After a few months it totally died so fitted a wired camera.
Muchhhhh more reliable

I have done the same as Phill_190 and installed the wired camera under the number plate lights, a bit harder to do on mine being a Tourer .But well wirth it. While doing that .I installed a rearer DVR camera next to it.
So much easyer having the camera while reversing.

This is the DVR I'm using and really pleased with it and easy to install. Got mine from amazon uk £55.99 now.
Rexing X80 Dash Cam Car Camera with 16GB Memury card %inc TFT Lcd Dual Lens Rear View DVR.
Will put a link just in case you are interested

I do not use it as a reversing camera , just as a front and back DVR. I use my Naval for reversing.
