Default Battery change

Hi, I have a 2001 Rover 75 Club diesel car, are there any precautions I should take before changing my battery to protect codes /computer etc. Thank you Ken

HI Ken.
There are a couple I can think of, make sure if your radio as a code you know it, also if you have the high line which I doubt in a club diesel, it should be powered down properly, other than that change over is as normal.

Also if you still want to use the battery box plastic lid check the height on the new battery, some are to high and you will not get the lid to fit.

The type 100 battery fits fine, but avoid the 096 if you want the battery box lid to fit.
