Rear Brake Backplates
Info from the guys who have changed the rear brake back plates. I want to change mine and put new bolts in at the same time. Rimmers only show the lower bolt SYG100710. Can anyone tell me please can you use the lower bolts for the upper fixing or are they different? Many thanks.

I changed a backplate last year and the bolts were in good condition. They are inside the drum and don't corrode.

As the other guys have said - use the old ones they should be OK. I took mine apart last year, and removing the 4 bolts was a doddle. Removing the handbrake cable and the ABS sensor however was a completely different issue
