Is it engine mount?
I noticed lately when taking my foot off the gas after overtaking , the car seems to veer to the right a bit, could it be engine mount rubber worn? If not then what? Don't notice it pulling to left under acceleration, but do when taking the power off.

Just been MOTD, the spring would be obvious, but how do I test for the bush, is it easy to replace?

And as to replacement, I doubt the ones that were fitted last time have failed, and to have failed as spectacularly as to cause drift that you describe, they would have failed the MOT certainly. A broken rear spring is much more likely, as these can be difficult to spot by even an MOT tester If the bush requires replacement, then it will be considerably easier than the ones the car came with, i.e. they are no longer welded to the subframe by some bodge happy garage Brian |

As above
Also there's no substitute for jacking each corner up and checking for play on each wheel. Certainly sounds front bush related. Put steering on full lock both ways. This forces the void bushes to their limits of the housing due the the geometry. Splits can clearly be seen even without being jacked up.

Done the bush test this morning and they are fine, so need to look at rear springs, car seems a bit sloppy at the rear when cornering too.

Rear trailing arm hanging off due to corrosion of the 3 bolt mounting bracket.
You'll probably find the gap of rear wheels around the arch not symmetrical either side
