Default Ranieri

Sacked ....less than a year after guiding Leicester to the title...football is an unforgiving career.

Shocking. I think the least he should of had was to manage the 2nd leg in Europe. They played really well yesterday against Sevilla and in the last 30 minutes they were the better side by far. I think the team would of gathered some momentum in the last match to take in the next couple of league games to try and crawl up the table.

The players have to take some responsibility. They have acted like kings and played like fools. Ranieri has been dignified throughout.

Whatever the ethics or morals have been broached, I'm sure his bank balance will be happy Football management is great, do a season or two, get sacked, pick up "compensation" of 4/5 million
Feel really sorry for him/them

Disgraceful and yet more proof that the people who know the least about football are the ones who own the clubs.

What they've done is ensure people don't try to over-achieve.

The year before Leicester won the premiership they were in a relegation battle. They were 5000 to 1 to win the league at the start of that season. They over-achieved. Then they sold the engine of their team (Kante) and now they're playing to their actual level with a drop of over-achieving thrown in via the champions league run.

Sacking Ranieri is disrespectful, myopic and frankly I hope they get relegated now

It was inevitable after last week's dreaded vote of confidence from their chairman!
