Default What Radio is this please?

Any help appreciated please. My handbook attachment has a picture which looks roughly like mine and is described as TR114X.

Is this a symphony or a harmony?

Many thanks ...

Martin

None of the above - that is the CD413x talked about here recently ... let me try and dig up the links.

Thanks Chris, I have a Harman Kardon Drive and play ipod set-up which cannot be connected directly to the radio as there is no feed on the back of the receiver to accept the input.

The frequency connection mode (which is best at 87.8) is not good with a lot of hiss etc in the background. Eventually after a year I've finally had enough and my ICE people wanted to know the radio/cd unit's ID.

There are no Iovox M3-100 radio/cd unit's currently on eBay, (previous thread) so does anyone know of another good quality receiver, of course conducive to the car's interior and that has a feed for a Harman Kardon input I wonder?

My pre-facelift 75 conn ('01) had a much superior set up altogether, so I suppose this inferiority is down to cost cutting/quality reduction drive on our super car's prior to the end!

I have a VDO CD413 in mine ( not x ) and am about to change the unit so i can play MP3 and accomodate ipod as there is no changer plug on the back which is where the i pod connector fits - you may need to do some homework on whether the steering wheel audio controls will work with any new unit you fit - you can always buy an updated VDO but plenty of choice out there at the minute.

There were lots of CD 80's for sale going cheap as they were for the European market (would only tune as high as radio 2 89,9Mhz)

Limited radio use but good for Ipods I suspect.
(I bought a couple which are hidden in my workshop somewhere)

That sounds like Japan, not Europe. Europe uses the same bands as we do here.
