Well I finally got round to tanking up Ed again after the weekend, so I'm ready for Kings Lynn this weekend!

248 miles and just 27.5 mpg!

I must try and stay off the loud pedal a bit more!

That would have been brilliant to see.

Is there any press, local paper or TV crew recording/reporting on the event, would be great to see video footage.

I have just done a quick calculation I got similar MPG. Trip to POL, including sitting in the Q to get in and some around town miles this week 252 miles = 27.45

I managed 49 mpg for overall trip to and back from POL but of course its a diesel so to be expected I guess, but the queues to get into the park were huge, though we had a appreciative audience along the route, I,m sure it was reported on local news

I got 27.1 MPG on my brim to brim, over the course of my trip, but, that's down to the 2.0 V6's short gearing, which is a pain on the motorway. However, being on LPG, that's given me the equivalent of over 50 MPG with absolutely no effort made to drive for economy. The one thing that annoyed me in the queue was the sheer number of cars which drove right past the queue, then tried to cut in, which slowed it down for people who had the courtesy to queue.

Thanks for bringing that up Fraser. A car nearly went into my dads car going round the roundabout as he wanted to get 1 space closer. Then a red zt overtook and dove in right behind me again right in front of my father. You would think people would be more courteous but no they were idiots

After a busy week I've finally got round to editing some images from last Saturday http://www.electriclemonade.co.uk/pride-of-longbridge/
Had an excellent trip up from the south coast with Reebs in a ZT 180 mini convoy, cruise locked on at 70mph on the digital speedos (calibrated IPK figure of 35.4mpg), stopped at the Marlbrook Travelodge to meet Christopher, Jimbo and Simondi and then we all went in together. Queue to get in wasn't too bad to get in at 9:30.
Way too many Minis and other 'non-Longbridge' cars there for my own taste but a really good day all the same.
Amazing how few Marinas, Princesses, Montegos etc. were there.

I enjoyed the queue! I arrived about 9.15 and had to queue for about ten minutes but then I spent about an hour walking along the the queues (there were two of them, one in each direction) and got some great pictures. From the top of the hill I could see the queue in both directions and it was a real sight to behold. The last of these pictures was taken about 11.30 and still it goes back as far as the eye can see!

So my advice would be to get there earlier but even I was in the queue it wouldn't stop me going again.
