My 1.8T is non PRT so there is no coolant hose going down from the T piece like on other cars. I will take a picture and email it. I would post a picture on here but my photobucket account is behaving oddly at the moment and I can't upload any pictures.
Imagine just the top part of the T piece as a straight through pipe and just the smaller spur going to the turbo. That's all there is.

Just a thought. If the bottom of the T piece is blanked off by the manufacturer then I can use it without a problem?
