I saw quite a few on the M2 today, sadly, one of them was a blue saloon which still had a taxi plate on, but was being transported on the back of one of those claw collection trucks.
The ''arms'' had smashed both windscreens and crumpled the roof. Such a shame, it had a set of meteors on it - I've no idea which scrap yard it was en-route to. |

there seem to be a few still trotting around in the North East and around Saltburn and Redcar, in York last week we saw one still giving service as a mini-cab!
sadly though as the cars age, so their numbers will dwindle, plus to many folks driving a Rover is a car for a looser, as it doesn't have a german badge on the front still that is their loss, as i think the Rover 75 is a very fine car, in the finest traditions of the Rover Company. |

You guys are complaining?
Over here Rover 75s and MGZTs are rare and apart from my 3 (2 x R75s and 1 xZT) and the one my daughter has, I go for months without seeing any. Yes, I know im in Australia but they did sell a few here. I have saved 2 or 3 R75s over that past couple of years and did do one up recently and got it back on the road and on sold it to another Rover guy . Just seen another one for sale unlicenced for about 1k AUD but needs a bit of body work. Problem is, if the car needs alot of work, unless you either have the time , skills or are wanting to do it up for yourself, the costs involved far out weigh the price of the car!!! Hence even over here alot are ending up in breakers yards. On a positive note - my daughter asked me the other day why her car just keeps going without any issues while her husbands 2013 Audi A5 coupe is always in getting repaired with issues costing thousands of dollars !!!
