Does all your spark plugs have the right gap?

Hi Everyone thanks for your responses we think the problem was down to a corroded wire in a multi plug and a corroded earth. We have been running the car since coming back from the garage yesterday so fingers crossed.

I was just going to post to say check the plug lead order on the front bank, but see you have it sorted.

I get these codes come in a lot when another garage has either done a HG-change or just replaced the plugs/leads as they think the coil packs are located in the same order as the plugs, i.e. from the belt side 1,3,5 when the coil packs are actually located as 3,1,5.

HTH helps for future reference as a lot of the time by the time the cars come to me the other garages have been running them for so long trying to locate the misfire they've also knackered the cat!
