V6 Engine swap
Hi folks I’m considering repairing (saving) a 2002 75 v6 2.0l estate.
The engine has a failed water pump, head gasket etc. rather than trying a repair it. If I could source a 2.0 v6 lump from a 75 would it be a direct swap? Or would it require additional work such as ‘T4’ session to ensure the electrics, engine management system etc. would operate? Advice greatly valued. I believe simply swapping the engine like for like should be fine provided the original ECU from the car you're wanting to save is used.
