I have painted the parking sensors for the rear bumper, and eventually fitted them in the new bumper. Now everything is ready for the MK2 conversion.

I assume you couldn't find any of the facelift bits around here (Son/Helmond/Eindhoven) could you. I can't! Getting the 80cm boot finisher was a coup (but best throw away the external boot-lock to be 'original'). Facelifts in Holland tend to be very scarce.
Drop me a PM if it would be OK to come and take a look at her some time :-) David Last edited by dbt01; 5th May 2017 at 19:41.. |

Hi David,
It wasn't very difficult to find the parts. Most were of a local scrapyard, and eBay of course. I found the MK2 rear-bumper in a little village near St. Anthonis. Except the front bumper of course, I picked that up in England (Southampton). You will have to look good, that's true. But you can find everything. And you are always welcome!

Yesterday I kept itching to fit the rear bumper, so......
The MK2 conversion has completed now, I think it looks awesome!

Dyed my steering wheel, it's looking good again
What other mods: - Speedo with LCD - Rear lights (ZT or LED, I don't know yet - Power folding mirrors - Fog lights - Whatever idea comes to my mind, but it has to be Original 75/ZT/7/750
