I wonder why it failed its MOT?
This is on fleabay as an MOT failure.
Look at picture 1 and zoom in on the tyre, its on slicks did he really expect it to pass, and more seriously, did he really drive it to the test center like that!! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ROVER-75-C...EAAOSwIWVY-40S |

I hate, hate, HATE painted tyre walls. While he was at it, he could have painted some tread on them!

The whole car looks filthy and neglected, I don't even want to guess what the brown goop all over the air-conditioning controls is
But what can you expect for £100 I suppose |

Not a lot ...and that's what you'd be getting !

It amazes me how many people will take there car for an MOT knowing it will fail, there view is only fix what it fails on .
The guy who does my MOT's could write a book on the tales of cars he has had presented to him for test. Only last week he had a Focus to test with all four wheels being emergency get you home wheels, apparently he could have past it as technical if all four wheels are the same it would have been legal and would only have needed an advise except one of the tyres was bald and another had a split. Apparently the owner had his original wheels stolen a few weeks before hand. He was also telling me some people are bodging there ABS/Airbag lights, some have wired the two together or have put a timer circuit in so they appear to be operating correctly. |
