Default Couple of months with the new Android 6 Octa Core Stereo

Hi all

Just thought Id post up of my thoughts and finding of the new Android 6 Octa Stereo I have fitted to me ZT.

I have been working with Xtrons who were the first to put this Octa Core stereo on the market and I have to say it is extremely good.

Instant boot on ignition, even after 7 days of it being off with the car not being used!

Ive been testing Firmware updates for Xtrons and each time it has got better.

The firmware fixes are:

Bluetooth auto connect on power up - Sometimes worked sometimes didnt - now works perfectly.

Radio station memory - If a reboot was done then it was loosing the memory presets - This is now fixed.

DAB player - When the DAB player was open the DAB audio was fine, but if it was playing in the background it would stutter. This is now fixed.

Absolutly love this stereo!!

They are available and in UK stock now ready to be with you next day if you wish.

Cheers all
Jub

Impressive!

For the sake of argument: let's assume I want to replace my NavAll 1 for this. I have the rear view camera and would love to use Torque. The car is a ZT MK2 190+ as per my sig. Would you say it is unplug-plug-'n-play?

Yes mate, you may need to connect 1 or 2 wires for the SWC depending on what you have behind the dash.

Jub, are you doing a fitting service...?

How long to replace a kenwood IR setup? Is nonsense like Chocolate bloc connectors required, or does an install look more pro than that?
