Speaker grill fabric vibration.
Hi all.
I've just finished replacing the speakers in my ZT-T and at the same time I've applied dynamite and additional foam to the door cards along with fabric tape in an effort to de-rattle the doors. However I've been left with a rate that I have pin pointed to the grey fabric that covers the speaker grills on the door cards. It just flaps about causing the most annoying vibration when the speaker is pushing air through it. Has any one else had and resolved this issue? As I can't think of a suitable method of eliminating the vibration without making the door card look terrible. The fabric is not loose at present but it's loose enough to cause this issue. My end goal is to completely eliminate as many rattles as I can but this one i can't figure out. Thanks in advance. |

Managed to solve the issue yesterday but applying small amounts of contact adhesive to the back of the speaker between the grill and the fabric.
Fortunately it can not bee seen from the front! |

Aerosol starch works well, a fine mist applied and wont show and you can build it up in coats until it stiffens up.
