I was thinking along similar lines, but not so drastic. Just buy a cheap plate from DVLA and tell her 'her' car is no longer owned by you. If she checks the original reg on the DVLA site it will come up with 'vehicle not found'.

That involves expense Dave doesn't need to spend. He's perfectly within his rights to do as he pleases with HIS car, and this stupid woman should but out and get over herself.

Tell her to do one.

She sold it so has no right to it or anything in it.

Look at the story recent where the folks gave away a piano only for the new owners to find a few thousands worth of gold in it.

The previous owner has no claim.

Default I thinks its all over now I hope.

Hiya all things I think have been resolved.

Had two messages not so long ago and I've replied too them, she seemed more restraint after realising I can take care of these cars and keep it going.

I think she's got the message now and anyway of trying too change my mind about what I'm going will fail instantly.

I do the things I want too do because I simply can and I like it.

I think she attached but too attached, but also a bit of jealousy as well because I fixed it and got it on the road, Paul and Nigel I didn't know this they bought originally too strip too pieces, how ever they didn't because the chassis was strong and zero holes.

Needed a bit of work too get back on the road again.

Paul couldn't get it on the road as he owns so many try 7 probes on one drive.
then Nigel bought and he was going too do a show car too go too meets in.
But that didn't happen as his Wife was involved in a car crash and car was originally going too be hers, She lost all interest in the car after the crash and Nigel did this own thing.

I went up there I was offered the car along with parts lots of parts with it and I bought there and then.

Just read the article now, wow talk about a lump some in a piano.
I see the original owners want a piece of the treasure, well if they didn't find it they have no clime too it what so ever.

its the person currently owns it that has the rights.

Just wish former owner would understand that.

Yep - some people are strange - I did up a Suzuki GT550 (air cooled three cylinder two stroke) then took it to a two stroke show down at Bovington Tank Museum.

All was going well until this "anorak" came up and verbally listed all that was "wrong" with it away from factory standard.

We had the same with a LR series IIa where we put a later rear cross member on it - again at a show this geeky bloke started telling us we had done it all wrong.

I'm no expert on mental health but these people need help IMO.
