Hi Jeff forgot to ask, would there be a function for increasing the brightness of the screen.

Couldn't find it sir,
what I did find was in the Navigation screen as you pointed out there is a problem whereas it goes to Budapest or whatever, yet when I scroll directly to The IGO tab right at the end after the Torque tab, it will go straight to my current location.

It is there but I haven't got a Eclipse otherwise I would do a screen shot.
It's in settings (cog symbol) if memory serves me correct

That's interesting Julien

If you launch it from there does it save your settings when you exit the program or switch the unit off ?

I didn't go that far, but just to be sure I did it both ways, turned power off went back in to the Nav screen and it started with Budapest, did the same other way and it went straight to my current setting I.E.! Stephen Close???

Thats very useful information.
If you get a chance try saving a favourite and switch on and off and see if its still held in memory.
If so you Sir are a genius

I'll point Sean to this thread as well

Hi Julien

To adjust the brightness you can either go to Settings/Display/Brightness Control and adjust the slider, or on the main screen at the top there is an icon (square shaped like a screen with a X in the middle), touch that and it brings the brightness control slider straight onto the screen.

I got excited about Igo, but unfortunately I did not have any success. Either way takes me to Budapest and does not save any settings.

Cheers

Thanks Stuart found it, as far as the IGO is concerned it does not save favourites, but mine does go directly to my current location when opened?

Default Post code

I have been playing around with the Eclipse, quite easy to navigate, the thing I would have liked was to have had the option of just typing in the post code, as well as the option of a street name.

I have added a new number to my Phone , Jeff transferred all my contacts to the Eclipse , but how do I add this new number to the Eclipse. Is there no one on here that can make me out to be an idiot which I think is something that is probably easy peesy,

Many Thanks.
