I quite agree with your comments. There are lots of competitions to enter. I just entered another with nice prizes $18,000 etc

I think it has a lot to do with the story behind the picture rather than the picture itself.

Photography is a subjective thing and as Trikey says all about the story. If your really into photography you will see images in a way that others don't, if that makes sense?

I saw these and thought the same, some good some not so good, even with a story they need to be better images.
My thoughts of course, some wont agree
