Default King Green Caravan Park

Just to let all you campers and caravanners know, the wonderful little campsite, where I am the new warden, is now OPEN

All welcome, tents, motor homes or caravans, one price for all. £12 p/n for non electric and £15 p/n for electric pitches. No charge for pets, awnings etc.

It's a small, community owned and run, 30 pitch shore side site which is great for those bracing early morning walks along the pebble beach. Located just outside the fishing village of Port William, Wigtownshire.

Look forward to seeing some 75s and ZTs on site

Hope you enjoy the job Paul. We love it at Ladram, feels like we're on holiday ourselves. In later today doing 'courtesy calls'. We don't call on the tourer's 'cos they bring their own accommodation Doing Mon, Fri, Sat and Sunday gives us days off in the week so we can explore Devon without the crowds.

Thumbs up Wardens job. What's it like?

Wouldn't mind doing caravan park warden job when I retire next year, never done it though but whenever I've gone on site the wardens seem very relaxed most of the time. The only problem I would have is I like to go to classic car rallies with my Moggy traveller on Sundays and in July with a group for a week's holiday when we raise money for charity, I don't think that would fit in with doing a wardens job somehow.
Would like to more about it tho from someone that actually does it and then I might try it.

I did it for 12mths at devon cliffs. Up early to clean the toilet blocks, then all day Sat guiding tourers/caravans to their pitches until 8pm. There was a hill so many burnt out clutches on rainy days. Grass pitches so mud was aplenty. Much improved now with hard pitches. Sunny days were great

It's close Anna! 50-75 yards or so
There's a wide section of scrub/dune between the site and the beach so we're not right on the beach......which is pebble btw, no sand next to site sadly
This is an old pic but shows how near to sea we are
