Default Where should we park if flying from Manchester?

I haven't done this before. It's the first time I'll be flying and because we live 3 hours from Manchester we'll have to drive down.

I've been told there are carparks away from the airport complex that are cheaper and where we can park for 10 days and get a lift to the airport.

I've looked on line but it's never that simple is it.

Anyone got a recommendation?

I always use the drop and go outside the terminal, its a bit more expensive , but trust me when you fly back in and your cars right outside, rather than waiting for a shuttle bus you will find it a sound investment

Also with some drop and go parking you get a free VIP security pass, which is a lot quicker as the lines tend to be shorter

use any of the comparison sights and make then make the decision on price and how long the shuttle bus journey is or go for Meet & Greet.
eg http://www.manchester-parking.uk.com...FUe17Qodf18GSQ

Definitely pre book as it is cheaper and you know the car park will accept you.

If there is a company called APH parking we always use them when flying from Gatwick and Stanstead, I certainly would not trust anyone with my meet and greet.

Default Help Out Guys and Gals..

Is there nobody close to the Airport where he could leave his car and only pay a small Taxi fare to and from the Airport? Just a thought but it's possible....

I always get the train when going to Manchester as it drops you off in the terminal, so convenient. Definitely not an option? But if you live too far away, how about getting a taxi firm to drop you off? If your jet lagged it can be great to let someone else do the driving and it's perhaps not that expensive. Plus you can leave your car at home and not worry about it.

We are flying too early to get a train and a taxi from our house to the airport is £280.

We need a car park and been told there us a cheaper option than the one at the airport.
