Default Cherished Rover He Said

That is what it said in the advert.
My cherished Rover 75 for sale.

If what i saw today was cherished then my cars are showroom condition just like out of the factory.
What a waste of a day.

Filthy rotten and smelling like a gorillas armpit.
Oh well, onto the next advert i guess.

Why do people say lies.
Rant over, time for another Jack Daniels.
Happy days

Been there done that, I was looking for a Connie Auto and found one on E Bay owned by a guy who lives near Dover. Looking at the pictures of the car inside and out plus a brilliant description. Swapped a few Texts with the guy and he was saying all the right things, I did wonder why he would not answer his mobile when I rang him. Any way to cut a long story short I got a friend to drive me the 130 miles plus from mine to his with a wad of cash in my pocket, over the QE bridge on our merry way we did go. Then we got to where the car was, dear oh dear, it was obvious that he had used a photo of another same colour 75 in his advert, as the car I was looking at looked like it had been used for banger racing. I wont go into a list of what was wrong with it as it would be easier and shorter to list what was not. I also then found out why he would not answer his phone, his English was shall we say a bit limited. This also highlighted to me why some adverts do not show the registration plate of the cars for sale, by doing so a buyer can't do am MOT history search. Still had a look around Dover, bit different to where I live out in the sticks

Since buying mine, I have seen so many forum members cars for sale on here that I would rather have than the one I do have! Are there none on here for sale that tickle your fancy?

There has been but through my own fault i have missed them.
Hectic times this end but i do contribute to my own problems.
I am consistent in my own work though, there is always a positive somewhere, i will find it one day.lol
