Dump overheat
Any feedback would be great.Rover 1.8 got stuck in a long queue at the tip for half hour today and the slow chug of the engine hit panick speed pretty quick. The square demist button started a lighting up along with the low speed fan.Every time I switched it off it flicked back on is this normal.
Last time I was caught in a jam couple years ago it hit red light and emptied the coolant bottle next day so was a bit panicky.I switch on econ as well is this correct way to cool down engine in jams. Thanks Ed |

May be better to post this in the technical forum - you will get a more appropriate audience there
I am no expert on the K series with climate control (my k series Freelander just had A/C) but I would assume syphoning off as much heat into the cabin is a good short term emergency stop-gap. No idea how best to do this with Climate Control tho' |
