Default 2001 2.5 KV6 conn ABS light reacts to Temperature?

Hi Folks
I have replaced the wheels sensors but now the ABS light comes on with the loss of the speedometer is temperature dependant. EG today 20c I drove for 1 hr all ok then parked and the symptoms appeared.
On a 40c day (Western Australia) I would only get 10 minuets.Question is can I remove the electronics from the ABS unit without disconnecting the brake pipes. To me it seems like a circuit board problem but its just a guess any advise most welcome.

Best Wishes Dan Gardner
