Default 2002 Rover 75 1.8 Classic SE

I bought this lovely black 1.8 SE from Goldyy recently but I have decided to sell as my knees are slowly worsening and I realise I really need an automatic.

It is largely in the same condition as when I bought it. I drove it down uneventfully from Saddleworth in June and have driven it around SE London since so it has an extra 1000k on the clock now so around 61000 in total, I can find the exact figure tonight.

It is a manual 1.8 Classic SE in black with grey cloth interior, with added sunroof (not working) and rear blind (working). The car drives beautifully, very tight and the gearbox is smooth, I was surprised that the 1.8 engine has a fair amount of power.
I have fitted a smiley rear plate and the club badge.

In 2014 it had the following work done:
  • New exhaust
  • New rear discs/pads
  • Head skimmed
  • New Range Rover battery
  • Has had oil and filter changed by Goldyy more recently
There is half a bottle of oil in the boot and half a tank of Shell Premium unleaded in the tank

Issues:
  • The starting issue identified by Golddy and documented here http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...&highlight=ffs
  • has yet to be rectified but the new ring remains in the car ready to be fitted. I have found that pumping the accelerator when ignition is at position 2 gets the car to start first or second time. When recently driven the car starts no problem on the button.
  • Some minor scratches etc as befits a 14 year old car
  • The rear courtesy light has disintegrated inside and a new one is required
  • Sunroof has been wound down and closed, may well need a new motor
  • CD player is stuck and will not eject. You can keep Goldyy's Michael Jackson CD if you manage to get it open
  • Small cigarette burn in driver's seat (not me!)

Looking to get back what I paid which is £500 or near
The car is in Eltham SE9 very close to A2/A20 coming off M25 and you are welcome to take it for a spin first.
