General
Car I think is excellent and has had lots and lots of work done to it. I am happy to talk serious price with people who come and see the car. I would also politely ask that comments on this thread are restricted to serious enquires about the car. Car has just had new MOT and service and aircon service and the rear subframe painted (again) in rust proofing Price is £5,500 MG ZT SE V8 2004 '54' Plate Saloon Starlight Silver 66k Miles Tax Until End January 2014 MOT has just been done so is 12 months and car has just had service Premium bumper and vortex wheels. Previous owner was an enthusiast owner as well as myself With service history 11 stamps in book and lots of paperwork, it did have another oil change in 2010 that is not stamped in the book. I have had three oil changes done in the last 10k Standard Equipment Black Leather Sat Nav Heated Seats Electric Windows Electric Sunroof Auto Dim Rear View Mirror Auto Wipers Cruise Control Traction Control Manual Rear Blind Xenon Headlights (Recently replaced with NEW lights and now has headlight covers too! - Only replaced to improve the cosmetic appearance) Chrome Door Mirrors (New and Unmarked) Other Features Vortex Alloys (all Refurbed) Good Avon Tyres all round 4-5 mm Premium Bumper Unique MG Badge X-Power Side Skirts Piano Black Wooden Dash Rover 75 Rear Bumper and exhausts Accufab Throttle body Mechanicals New Shocks and top mounts all round Air Conditioning Compressor Up rated fan Gearbox and diff oil changed recently New spark plugs Recent rear discs/pads/shoes/handbrake cable/compensator £2k spent end of 2011 when mileage 59,500 New badges all round, wheels, doors etc Up rated heater hose Up rated fan resistor Stereo Up rated speakers all round Amplifier and Sub in boot (After market) Up rated sound module BM24 Tuner I have owned this car for 3 years and spent a lot on it to get it right. It has got the premium bumper which is an original Rover item with unique lower valance and MG badge. The wheels are very hard to come by and are 18" Vortex wheels which are unmarked and recently refurbished. Tyres are Avon ZZ3 all round and have 4-5mm tread. The dash is an original Rover wooden dash repainted piano black The stereo is all up rated, new speakers, amp, sub radio tuner, but CD changer/player is sticky and needs replacing. Lots of mechanical work done to get everything up to speed. Recent expenditure not limited to: £2000 service £700 vortex wheels (including Refurb) £1000 + Premium bumper, including respray of front bumper £600 Tyres £500 Sideskirt fit and respray of inner wheel arches £300 Rover 75 rear & bumper respray £600 New xenons and headlight protectors £200 New speakers £50 Proper V8 mats £350 Replace all Shocks (Parts only) £200 Replace fan (Parts Only) £300 New aircon compressor (Parts Only) £150 Wooden dash professional painted piano black £xxx Other servicing and miscellaneous stuff goodness knows but the total is a lot! Don't really want to sell, but having now three cars and I walk to work it is not getting used hardly at all, approx. 700 miles this calendar year and most of that is to keep it moving! |

Did take the car for a short drive on Saturday and it gets plenty of attention, not many cars clean and polished on the road never mind a 75/MG like this |

Trouble is I have three cars and walk to work, the missus isn't keen on this, but she is getting used to it now... Currently restoring my historic Audi S6 (Audi 100 type) which is a completely different animal (2.2 Turbo) but a lot of fun in a different way. Provided I can keep bank rolling these cars I don't have much problem with having three. The other (third) car is a Audi S4 (100 type 2.2 Turbo) which I bought for spares for the S6, but that will be going one day so I might end up with just two, which will help with the space and wife problems lol. PS If anyone thinks a V8 is expensive to run, they haven't seen anything, the S6 is gobbling money at an incredible rate! |
