No problem OB

The list at post #1 has now been updated to only include members who have logged into the forum in the last 12 months etc.... So before members PM those on the list it maybe useful to check their last activity in their profiles

Hi all, would anyone be able to look at a car in Nottingham for me? Auction ends tomorrow evening, so time is a little limited.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rare-Black...19.m1438.l2649

Certainly looks the part, but I've sent the seller a couple of questions, including a request for an under-bonnet pic. But on initial viewing, this car looks like it has the potential to be a decent replacement for one of my own ones and not too extortionate even once the cost of transport to NI is factored in. The one I need to replace has failed its MOT due to rust in the actual subframe (not just the arms), so I'd be particularly keen to know whether that could be an issue - also what the clutch feels like.

MOT history check service is currently down, so I can't do any more remote research. I should be heading over to visit a pal in Derby next month, so if it checks out then I should be able to ask her to keep it for me till I get there.

Fingers crossed!

Quite happy to add my name to the list of members willing to look over a car for a club member to save a lengthy journey, I live 30 miles southwest of Glasgow and can cover a wide area.
